Howdy, been a while, eh?

Yes, I got busy again, so I forgot about this =P Alot has been happening... And I ain't even going to attempt to tell you all of it =S Eek! But yeah... I shall mention some of the important stuff... Not in great detail mind you, coz I'm busy!! =P

Firstly, yes, I'm going out with Stef Dingnis... Lol, but anyone reading this will most likely know that already... Lol we been going out for 2 1/2 mths... I'm no longer in Whitehorse Brass or WASABI, and yes, yes I miss WASABI! 'Twas a good band!

But yeah, Gambier has been and gone, and we worked fuckin' hard for that and had a good time... I think we got 94 points... Out o' 100. And I think we got 4th...

But yes, more recently, South Street was on... And usually South Street is an unorganized blob... We usually go and stay with our family and the percussionists for the week in a house, bu this year everyone had to go up together as too many people were missing rehearsals and the likes because they were up staying in houses (I'd like to say, not me, I always travelled back for rehearsals etc...) But yeah... this year it was all planned out! A lot of effort by the music teachers... And the school booked out a place called Rutherford Park, massive joint!! In the middle of NOWHERE!!

But it was a great place, hard to find a place with reception =P But it was awesome!! Except the rooms... They were crap! But yes... Every single band that Blackburn entered in won... Except Junior Band & Concert Band... Do you know how unbelievable that is!!

Usually we will place first in like 2/3 things... This year, we won:
Symphonic Band
Symphony Orchestra
String Orchestra
Senior Stage
Inter Stage
Junior Stage

Dan Nealon won the Peter Martin Memorial Jazz Solos, which is prestigious!! Nearly all the people who have won that, have grown up to be huge names in the music industry!! (ie. Ross Irwin, Savannah Blount etc...)

But yeah that was a pretty massive week!!

Then the week after I borke my wrist, so i spent like half of each day in hospital having scans and stuff... I had 3 x-rays a CT scan and a bone scan in 5 days!! It was insane!! The Bone scan is pretty cool... They inject radio active material into your blood and then send you home for another 2 hours and then when you come back, they take a scan of the suspect area, and big "hot-spots" show up where there is large amounts of activity occuring (ie. a break or growth occuring). Kinda interesting!!

But yeah, that made it quite incredibly difficult for work experience... Coz I was working with the Victorian Police... At Boronia lol! And I spent a bit of time answering phones and stuff, so trying to take down rego plate numbers and stuff with a broken wrist was quite annoying =P

But in all it was a great week!! Be-friended some great coppers!! And got a look at what I wanted to be when I grew up =)

So yeah... I guess i'm out... need to do some more trumpet practise... Got my gr 8 exam soon...

Well it definately has been a long time between drinks... I mean posts...

I been quite busy and stressed. So heres the news since last year... I am now in year 10 after failing Science and pasing all my other core subjects with an average of C+, I am single (nothin new there =P), Did have a girl, Elisha B, but yes... Lets never speak of that again..., I am now in Senior Stage!! GO ME! And Symphonic Band, Brass Choir, Chamber Choir, WASABI, Whitehorse Brass, Symphony Orchestra, Black Coffee and a new Funk group that consists of bout 5-6 players which we have named and renamed many times... We will be gettin a site up soon...

Yes, Whitehorse Brass and WASABI unfortunately I will have to leave soon (ie. next term) coz I am literally dying of stress =( I am failing school... Literally... And no way am I gunna pass these exams next week... I also have an audition for the orchestra for the Victorian Youth Opera. Me and Scotty G got nominated... Go us!

At least the stress of Gambier is over, which was a good weekend! Inter Stage came 2nd. Congrats guys!!! The played bloody fantastic and Blackburn got 8 people into te superbands!! AMAZING EFFORT!

Lol, I don't really know what else to say... =( I'll leave it for now!

Wow, i havent posted for thousand and hundreds of yrs! Cant even remember the last time i posted... well, Well, i had my 7th Grade Trumpet Exam, and I was real stressed out about that i can tell ya, but it went kinda alright i gess... :S -- Coulda done better. And then the stress got off me... and now its on me agen for 2moz coz i'm playin the Last Post and Revielle at the Blackie RSL, its not the biggest gig i have but its pretty stressful coz its off by heart and every1 is deadly silent, and its just me, and its a tribute kinda...

Well i got into a relationship with a lovely girl named prue, but i wont go into that, it didnt work out...

Well Wasabi had three trumpet players do gr7 AMEB and there all in yr 9 - gunna b a kikass band bcoz i think all 3 of us will be there til were 18 :)

Howdy all! Had another painstakingly boring day today :( Still got that headache thats threatening to kill me, lol - so I couldnt be bothered goin out.

I'm slowly getting addicted to heaps of singers/bands while I'm stuck at home listenin to music all day. Bands I used to be into, and havent listened to in ages, and bands I havent really listened to much. Gosh, i could make a list:

Jackson 5,
Michelle Branch,
Vannessa Carlton
- I have alterior motives for the last 2 but -
Toto,
Van Halen,
Queen,
John Williamson and
Allen Vizzutti

are only a few I'm currently addicted to. Isn't that a fair bit of music in 5 days, I haven't been doin much else lol.

Well I just watched the final episode of Rock School, and I must say they played pretty well for "Classical Nerds" except for the singer who was horrible!!! But the mic level was real low so thats kool. He tried doin heavy metal screamin, but his voice hasnt even broken yet, lol - with a horrible english accent too!! :( I thought they'd be awesome!

Been watchin a lot of "Home Improvement" lately, and as my dads really into it, we have all the dvds :) so thats been kool. 1 dvd lasts for 5 hrs, lol!!

G'day guys - I'm real bored so I resorted to this. I've just been on the phone to old friends from primary school.

I havent seen some of my best friends in over 3 yrs :( How horrible is that!! Someone from B-S-P-S has organised a reunion thingo next month. And i told all my old friends to go, gunna be mad.

I'm goin to the Reel Big Fish concert next month, with Andrew, who I havent seen for 3 yrs - lol! Thats gunna be an awesome night!! Its an U18s only gig so thats kool. It'll be friken busy though...

I'm still pretty sick, so I can't go out :( Just been listenin to music, Michelle Branch is a legend! Like one of the best singers ever! So its been a pretty borin day, but I watched Bad Santa, not too shabby, but gets pretty boring.

My iTunes seems to know exactly how i feel, i went into Party Mix, and it chooses random songs, and they were all PERFECT! How great! But i have to go now, how gay!

Hey, i havent posted for ages!!! Been REAL busy, REAL sick.

*groan* the pain of gettin out of bed is excrutiating - i get a migraine rolling over!

But yer, i had fun up at sth st. apart from being horribly sick - my solos went real well - i got a 2nd in 15s and under and a Highly Commened in 18s and Under - so i was real proud!

One of the chicks from primary school is throwin a huge reunion party and that sounds soooo awesome!! Cant wait to see how every1s changed!! I know i've changed loads!

It was my b'day y'day and i spent most of it in bed - *groan* but i got a kikass casual suit jacket 4om my sis, and that awesome karaoke PS2 game like laucheys and some other stuff, so its all good!!! lol - i g2g have dinner so i'll b leavin u...

Hey guys... I'm so freaked out bout 2morro.

Got solo at South Street... What if I come last? Everyone will be like... HAHA LEIGH!!! U SUCK! And Henrik and Damo and all will be there :S.

And I'm competing with them in U18's - I'm gunna get kikd in that, but never mind... its all the experience (isnt it?).

But anyway, After that it should be GREAT!

Haha, Funky Off-Beats (aka Funk Off) had a rehearsal on the oval today, while the yr 8s had a test and yr 7's had Sport!! Pretty funny... just funkin around while all the puny ones cheered us on!! THANKS KATIE!!

*groan* so nervous...

Hey guys, Soz I haven't been posting much. I been really busy practisin for Solo up at Sth Street. Did like 6-7hrs yesterday. Got really bored lol.

I got Melbourne Bands Festivals today for Inter Stage. Hope it goes well. Symphonic Band went pretty well, the edjudicator was really happy with us. So was Mr. Mott.

I went to see Senior Stg. play at Manchester Lane the other night. They went REALLY well, Henrik & Tim screamin. Blackbird n' Norwegian Wood were really awesome!! Rachel & Cal did awesome feature songs!

Nothins really happenin atm with Black Coffee, but we still got that Wedding Gig and the Musical. They're not 4 a while though. Marty's dad took some pretty good pics of us @ our last gig at the Jewish Anniversary. Check them out at Marty's blog - http://mushroomhunting101.blogspot.com

Dad made me freakin late 4 work y'day arvo.... He promised me he'd be there in time to get me to work at 4-15... instead, he turns up to school at 4-30... and i work in ringwood!!! I ended up bein late by 45 minutes and its all his fault!!

I had a pretty crap day... and so far the weekends even worse. Wot had looked to b a good 1 turn into a piece o' crap in just over 20 minutes! I H8 IT ALL!!

I'm not gunna post a song o' the day... i'm not in the mood - soz guys.

Man, how i hate the infernal Concert Band. Forced to sit there wreckin my trumpet embachoure on the behemoth of beasts, the bass clarinet, while Ms Dubya sez its no problem to ur trumpet playing, when over 25 people on 1 of the best Trumpet Forums say otherwise!!

GRRR - soz, i'll change subject now! Dont u h8 it wen u have heaps of msg's on ur mobile and it cums up with "No Space For New Messages" and u never know coz ur phone doesnt beep, ring or vibrate.. So it could be like ages before u realise! Then u have to delete some msg's and after that, it takes another 5-20 min to come in!!! GRR.

lol - y am i choosin subjects that piss me off? Does n-e-1 know how to get a picture into ur profile?!?!?! Its really confuzin! I downloaded the Hello thing and that doesnt seem 2 work! Any help wood b nice!

Hey, I just realised... my blog is REALLY small lol - so i thought i might post!

Mt. Martha was kickass, beeter than just sittin on my ass all hols! Bought heaps of posters for 50c each - how good!! Ray, Cellular, Seed of Chucky, Life and Death of Peter Sellers, National Treasure, Bride and Prejiduce, De-Lovely etc. lol. Yea, got windburn - always good hehe!

Yer on Saturday night we had our 2nd gig for "Black Coffee" went pretty well. More praise for our band... not to mention money. lol. Nah - we played our own arrangement of Summertime... they seemed to LIKE it! lol - If anyones seen the movie "Stuck on You" its kinda like the summertime he sings at the end! Is great!!

Saw War of the Worlds y'day! I'd just like to say...... HOW GOOD!! The end was a bit too abrupt tho, and i'm still tryin to figure out how Robbie got back to Boston!!

Another 1st day at skool - how i HATE them. Had an improv course period 5-6! Missed out on a science test... like i care lol. So yer, im off now. Have a good week guys! Btw, we gunna have a band website up soon.

Ok, here goes. My last blog i ended up throwing away!! Real bad and i couldn't fix it! grrr. But anyway....

Yer, anybody who can b bothered readin this... which is probably no1 - will no me anyway, so yer.

Our band "Black Coffee" had a gig on the night of the last day of school. Went real well. The customer s seemed pretty happy and the chef's/managers said we did really well. So yer, not bad for a first gig 2getha hey?

We've also had some offers for other gigs and have an upcoming gig this saturday at a conference centre.

N-e-way, holidays have been good - just been bummin round. Hahaha, elishas. Used up 15 dollars o' credit in 5 days.... thanks steph!! Nah, its kool. Credits ova rated, i'll get some more 2moz b4 i head off to mt. martha with dav and elisha.

Gunna b gr8! Should really ask my parents :S Haha, elisha should really tell hers lol.

Found this awesome site on the net, free sms, its probably gunna steal all my credit, but thats alright, i don't have any!! You can make ur own ringtones and stuff as well. And logos. Pretty Cool.

But, n-e-way, enough ramblin. I'll c ya all l8r - keep swingin!!
